Hat Trick for Clifford's Tower at RIBA Yorkshire Awards

AWARD

Our project for Clifford’s Tower in York has been recognised with a trio of awards from RIBA Yorkshire

We are thrilled to see our project for English Heritage at Clifford’s Tower in York (designed with Martin Ashley Architects) recognised with three RIBA Yorkshire Awards: an RIBA Yorkshire Award, an RIBA Yorkshire Conservation Award, and the RIBA Yorkshire Client of the Year Award, recognising our brilliant client English Heritage.

“This scheme is an exceptional piece of conservation work combining the historic structure with unapologetically modern interventions. The quality and the craftsmanship in both the old and new elements is clear and has transformed and preserved the building for future generations. This was a bold approach by an enlightened client and has clearly created an exciting visitor experience, shown by the rise in visitor numbers, and a huge asset to the city of York.”
