Hugh is thrilled to be appointed as a trustee of the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust, an incredible organisation that conserves and maintains six of Britain’s historic huts on the Antarctic Peninsula as well as promoting Antarctic science and environmental awareness to a remarkably wide audience.
Hugh is considered one of the world’s leading designers of science research facilities in Antarctica. However, the other mainstay of his career has been working on heritage projects of international significance - this role as trustee will require a unification of Hugh’s experience in both fields.
